About Our Program

Ultimately, the goal of our program is to develop a life-long love for the game of tennis.  Tennis is one of those few sports that you can play for most of your life.  Children will be taught the fundamentals of tennis in an enjoyable, rewarding, and competitive environment.  We believe participating in group clinics is the most effective way to begin your tennis journey.  Group clinics are more cost effective than private lessons, plus they’re a lot more fun!  The program focuses on children ages 8 and over and we have a student/instructor ratio of 6:1 so kids receive more focused instruction.  By using developmentally appropriate equipment and coaching methods, such as using low compression balls, children will experience success sooner which will improve their confidence and make tennis more enjoyable.

How to Begin

There are 2 ways to join our tennis program:

  1. Starting a new group:  We offer 6 group clinics held weekly.  Clinics are organized by ability level and must have a minimum of 3 players or a maximum of 6 players.

  2. Joining an existing group:  Depending on your child’s experience level, we may be able to slot them into an existing group.  If your child is a complete beginner, and the existing groups have been established for a while, it may be necessary to schedule a “Fast Start” class to assess your child’s ability and catch them up on the fundamentals.

Note:   The Fast Start class is a 1-on-1, 30-minute lesson with the instructor.  There is a $20 fee for the Fast Start class.
